Photoelectrochemical Properties of BODIPY-Sensitized Anodic TiO<sub>2</sub> Layers Decorated with AuNPs for Enhanced Solar Performance

چکیده
An efficient hybrid photoanode based on the anodic TiO2 layer covered with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and BODIPY (boradiazaindacene) microrods for solar-driven water splitting experiments was developed. The derivative (B-1) synthesized, their stability in different solvents characterized order to prepare heterojunction photoelectrode. insight into materials’ properties gained by evaluating morphology, optical, semiconducting, photoelectrochemical performance. By combining unique morphology of nanotubes electron trapping abilities AuNPs light absorption dye, a novel generating 15 times higher photocurrent (∼120 μA cm–2) than pristine (∼8 obtained.

A C3N4-sensitized TiO2 nanotube array-based photoanode was designed and fabricated via the in situ growth of C3N4 on the surface of TiO2 nanotubes.
